I only "discovered" Kodachrome a few years ago, but I shot a lot of it and was mesmerized by the results (and tried and tried to get those exposures right). I became red in the face, got a stomach ache and said: "But, I have been shooting Kodachrome all this time for magazine covers and my calendars. I cannot compromise on the quality of my slides." Guess what, my slides from the 1977 America's Cup have not changed, the Ektachromes are now bluer than the sea in the photo.
