People who have the money, get th...It's simple. People who have the money, get the care. Its called options. The rest of us are expected to tough it out. The fact of the matter is this. For opponents of a public option (called scare the insurance & health care providers into efficiencies of scale), we already have a government health plan. Congress & their employees, federal workers, federal prisoners, state and local government workers, the militarym Medicare, Medicaid, and veterans. It's not perfect but it works pretty well for all of those lucky people who fall into the above characters. People who have the "federal plan" also have choices of private plans which they can change yearly! I don't suppose federal prisoners are invited to an annual "health fair" like the others, but, hey, they are taken care of.<br /><br />Its all hooey.
